OMG, I watched the whole preview, right, thinking the whole time, "I want to see this, but I wonder how it turned out for Frank. I'd be too sad if he didn't succeed." Then I scrolled down and saw the after pix and literally GASPED! I definitely need to see this!

What a fantstic compliment to the spirit of gratitude and paying in forward (the guys who helped Frank). Mind, Body, Spirit are all involved. Can't wait to see the whole thing. I'd love to link this to my blog to help it reach as many people as possible. Can I direct them here? - Jude

I Have eaten at Gratitude Cafe. It is amazing in all aspects. The food, the people, the environment... I didn't want to leave! I met a woman there who goes eats there every single day, now that says something about the place. I loved it so much I had to buy the cook book. You are welcome to borrow it anytime Wendy. Let me know when you're going to watch the film, I'm in! Thanks again for your help last night!

That looks like a beautiful story! I love that it was such a (w)holistic transformation. If you watch the interview with him that shows up right after the video on YouTube, he appears so much calmer and self-assured. What an inspiration!

I'd never heard of this before, but I definitely want to see it!

I really want to see Forks over Knives and I'm thinking I'll just order the DVD. It's so very helpful to me to have this sort of video around to watch when I'm feeling itchy for something I know I shouldn't eat.

I was lucky enough to have a live screening of the movie with a Q/A with Frank right after. What an amazing and genuine man! They had the video for sale after, so I bought it and have been passing it around to friends. The awesome thing is, the next week I was in San Francisco so I went to to Cafe Gratitide, and I bought the book. The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I was such a geek, I kept taking pictures :o)

Heather, how lucky for you! I watched the movie today and was very inspired. I look forward to visiting the Gratitude Cafe someday. But today, I guess I will just have to get the book!

This is very powerful. People can argue tastebuds, but they cannot argue a personal experience & transformation like his.

Gracias Madre is also one of my favorite places to eat in SF!

I have been following the screenings of this movie but living in cow country Central Florida we don't get movies like this, unfortunately. But, yay it should be releasing this month on DVD! Can't wait to share it with all of my family because it looks funny and entertaining and the before-Frank reminds me of my Dad, hope to inspire him with it.

Update-I watched it last weekend as a streaming video on my computer. It was very heartwarming. Good stuff in there. My only criticism is that they barely touched on the food that is served at Cafe Gratitude. I would have LOVED to see way more about that.
