Gorillas with Heart Disease

Thank you to Rip Esselstyn and the folks over at www.engine2diet.com for sharing this very relevant video. If you haven't seen it, it's totally worth the 2.5 minutes of your life!

How is it that there is no mention of the implications for human health and longevity in this video? Or is it just so obvious that it doesn't even need to be mentioned?

What are some of your associations with processed food these days? Have you eliminated any, some, most or all of it from your diet?

Wow. I'm glad that they took those gorillas off of those processed biscuts and that they feel better now! YEAH FOR GREENS! :D

These days, I focus on eating whole real foods. I try to eat as much food as unprocessed as I can.

Thank you for the video. It really shows how much people could benefit from more whole foods too! :D

Also saw this as I am on the feed from Engine 2. Very interesting and another good point for plant based nutrition.

I purged my kitchen of processed foods last year. I had some pretty empty cabinets for a while! My husband surreptitiously brought back a few items back that he loves, but I've gone so long without them, that I don't have a desire to eat them. Yeah, Greens! I'm loving it.
